About the Role
A pivotal opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager with a funds management background to take ownership of financial and trust accounting across a portfolio of property trusts, while providing leadership and mentoring to the broader finance team. You'll work closely with senior leadership, gaining genuine exposure to investor reporting and Board-level reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing management accounts and Asset Management Reports across property trusts
- Calculating and processing trust distributions and investor reporting
- Managing treasury functions, cashflow and bank reconciliations
- Coordinating annual audits, tax compliance and ASIC lodgements
- Supporting debt covenant calculations and lender reporting
- Providing leadership and mentoring to the wider finance team
- CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years' experience in funds management, trust, or property accounting
- Genuine exposure to trust structures, investor reporting and trust taxation
- Prior experience mentoring or leading others
- Confident engaging with Directors, investors and key stakeholders
