Perigon Group is partnering with a leading engineering and environmental consultancy in their search for a Finance Manager. Currently on an exciting growth trajectory through recent acquisitions and a strong pipeline of future work, this is a hands-on leadership role managing a small team and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Finance Manager will oversee financial control and reporting across multiple entities, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive process improvements to support the organisation’s expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end and year-end reporting across multiple entities
- Review P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and GST reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and consolidated board-level reporting
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards
- Liaise with external advisors on taxation and financial matters
- Mentor and develop the finance team
- Drive improvements in systems, processes and reporting frameworks
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in consulting or professional services (highly desirable)
- Strong technical accounting skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP/reporting system experience
