A well established listed property fund is looking for a Finance Manager to support the team with the end-to-end accounting function within the division. Its a broad and varied role for a hands on Senior Accountant / Finance Manager.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include:
- Onboard and integrate multiple mandate trusts into the finance and reporting framework
- Prepare monthly reporting packs including analysis and commentary for stakeholders
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accuracy across key accounts
- Prepare and review BAS returns and ensure compliance with GST obligations
- Calculate monthly NAV and support unit pricing and distribution calculations
- Monitor cashflow, complete bank reconciliations and process journals
- Support year end reporting including preparation of financial statements and audit deliverables
- Respond to stakeholder queries and provide accounting guidance across funds and transactions
- CA/CPA qualified
- Property funds experience is highly desirable
- Tax - BAS, GST, income tax returns is higly desirable
- Excellent written and communications skills
