A multinational business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Brisbane-based team as part of an evolving finance structure.
With operations across multiple regions, the business is continuing to refine how financial information is produced and used, with a focus on improving reporting quality, efficiency and visibility. The local team operates in a lean environment with regular interaction across international stakeholders.
The Role
This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how the numbers come together, while also looking for ways to improve how they’re produced and communicated.
You’ll take ownership of key reporting outputs, work closely with stakeholders to interpret results, and play a role in improving processes across the finance function. There’s a strong focus on making reporting more meaningful and reducing manual inefficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning key reporting outputs and ensuring accuracy across the finance function
- Working with stakeholders to explain performance and underlying drivers
- Identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Using systems and data to streamline reporting and improve visibility
- Contributing to a more structured and scalable finance environment
About you
You approach finance with a commercial mindset, looking to understand the drivers behind performance rather than just reporting outcomes. You’re confident working in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of what you deliver.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience in a commercial finance or accounting role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools
- Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders
- A hands-on approach and willingness to improve processes
