Operating across multiple service lines and entities, the organisation has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to expand - both organically and through acquisition. It is a business with genuine purpose behind it and real momentum ahead of it.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead the day-to-day finance function across multiple entities, managing a growing team of 6 FTE. Hands-on and operational with real strategic exposure - keeping things moving and building scalable processes as the group grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day leadership and development of the finance team
- Monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- ATO and statutory compliance across a multi-entity group
- Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Award interpretation and payroll compliance
- Strengthening controls, governance and risk management frameworks
- Systems improvement and automation
- Financial modelling for tenders, funding submissions and growth initiatives
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards), degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in a finance leadership role, ideally within community services or NFP
- Comfortable owning both operational and strategic finance responsibilities
- Adaptable and energised by a high-growth environment
- Must be able to obtain relevant working with vulnerable people checks
- Flexible working after probation
