    About the Opportunity
    Join a major property development company at Sydney Olympic Park as their Finance Manager! Lead the finance function for a significant development portfolio while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.

    Responsibilities
    As our Finance Manager, you'll lead finance operations and provide strategic commercial support:
    Leadership & Strategic Partnering:
    • Provide strategic direction as part of the development finance leadership team and lead team members to high performance
    • Partner closely with the General Manager and project teams to deliver timely analysis, insights and commercial guidance
    • Assess financial implications of project structures and collaborate with Legal, Tax and Corporate teams on optimal outcomes
    Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    • Lead bi-annual project forecasting across the development portfolio in collaboration with project teams
    • Identify key profitability drivers, risks and opportunities through scenario modeling and portfolio analysis
    • Support strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial modeling on major projects
    Management Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly financial results with insightful commentary on project performance, margins, overheads and capital
    • Deliver quarterly Executive and Board reporting with decision-enabling insights on key business metrics
    • Provide performance analytics that drive commercial outcomes across the portfolio
    Governance & Continuous Improvement:
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of P&L and Balance Sheet, and prepare audited financial statements
    • Support internal and external audit processes and maintain robust financial controls
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across finance and development teams
    Skills Needed
    • CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years' post-qualification experience
    • Proven finance leadership experience, preferably in property development, construction or project-based industries
    • Strong commercial acumen with ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders
    • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
