Join a major property development company at Sydney Olympic Park as their Finance Manager! Lead the finance function for a significant development portfolio while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.

As our Finance Manager, you'll lead finance operations and provide strategic commercial support:
Leadership & Strategic Partnering:
- Provide strategic direction as part of the development finance leadership team and lead team members to high performance
- Partner closely with the General Manager and project teams to deliver timely analysis, insights and commercial guidance
- Assess financial implications of project structures and collaborate with Legal, Tax and Corporate teams on optimal outcomes
- Lead bi-annual project forecasting across the development portfolio in collaboration with project teams
- Identify key profitability drivers, risks and opportunities through scenario modeling and portfolio analysis
- Support strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial modeling on major projects
- Prepare monthly financial results with insightful commentary on project performance, margins, overheads and capital
- Deliver quarterly Executive and Board reporting with decision-enabling insights on key business metrics
- Provide performance analytics that drive commercial outcomes across the portfolio
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of P&L and Balance Sheet, and prepare audited financial statements
- Support internal and external audit processes and maintain robust financial controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across finance and development teams
- CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years' post-qualification experience
- Proven finance leadership experience, preferably in property development, construction or project-based industries
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
