Multinational consumer good business who are on an exciting growth path through organic growth and acquisitions. The management team has been instrumental in the stability and growth of the business.
The role
The opportunity is within a high growth, consumer products business operating in a US-listed environment, supporting a key pre-integration phase as the organisation works toward SOX compliance.
The role sits within a lean, high performing finance team and requires someone comfortable being hands on across audit, controls and broader finance delivery during a period of change.
- Support pre-integration finance activity in a US-listed structure
- Assist in preparing the business for SOX compliance, including documentation and control uplift
- Review and strengthen existing financial controls in line with SOX requirements
- Partner with finance leadership to identify control gaps and implement remediation plans
- Support internal and external audit processes, including managing requests and walkthroughs
- Act as key point of contact for external auditors (Big 4 and mid-tier)
- Assist with US GAAP considerations and alignment where required
- Contribute to month-end and reporting processes where needed to support team capacity
- Provide hands-on support across financial control, compliance and general finance operations
- Support transition of selected finance processes to offshore/European teams
- Assist with process documentation, standardisation and handover activities
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure continuity through change
- Provide additional senior finance capability during a period of transformation and increased workload
