- Workday Financials (or equivalent ERP) optimisation experience essential

Whilst you'll be a member of the group finance team, your remit won't involve consolidations or financial reporting. Instead you'll be responsible for leading finance systems projects, with an initial focus on making necessary improvements & refinements to Workday, in order to benefit end-user requirements and improve efficiency around financial reporting.
More broadly, you'll also have oversight of governance & controls around core financial systems, you'll contribute to the ongoing automation & improvement of financial reporting and you'll be responsible for embedding AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual workload & increase efficiency.
As the Workday SME, you'll have prior, extensive experience in Workday Financials systems configuration, implementation, optimisation and/or process design - if not Workday, then an equivalent ERP, such as SAP, will be considered.
You are a CA/CPA qualified Accountant, with a background in financial accounting/reporting and you've more recently gone on to deliver systems improvement, automation and/or AI-enabled initiatives within the finance department of a large, multi-entity corporate.
