A growing professional services business undertaking a major finance and systems transformation. With a strong leadership team in place, the organisation is investing in its technology and finance capability to better support a complex, non standard operating model.
The opportunity
A newly created Senior Analyst – FP&A role has been established to help shape and build the finance function within a growing professional services organisation.
Reporting to the CFO, you will:
- Be the finance/IT go between for a firm wide system implementation and change
- Lead integration of the claims platform into the general ledger via API
- Own data mapping, structure and migration to ensure clean and accurate financial outputs
- Support the design and build of the AR module within a non standard revenue model (no billable hours)
- Work across finance and IT to translate operational workflows into accounting outcomes
- Partner with CFO, FC, CIO, IT and BA teams to deliver system and process improvements
- Support reporting aligned to settlement based revenue recognition and cash flow dynamics
- Identify and implement improvements across finance processes, controls and data integrity
- Be the key person operating in a hands on environment across both design and implementation phases
- Background in finance transformation, systems implementation or integration roles (essential)
- Experience in professional services, legal, insurance or similar environments
- Strong understanding of complex revenue and cash flow models
- Exposure to data migration, system design and API integrations
- Ability to work across finance and technology stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in build environments with evolving processes
