    The Role

    This is a broad and hands-on Financial Accountant position on an initial 3-month contract. Working closely with the wider business, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting while also supporting day-to-day finance operations.

    Given the size of the organisation, this role requires someone who is comfortable working across both technical accounting and more transactional duties. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to get involved at all levels, including some more junior tasks when required.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with reporting requirements
    • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
    • Support month-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
    • Process and review transactional finance tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
    • Answering any enquiries that come through to the finance team
    About You
    • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
    • Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
    • Comfortable working in a small team environment with varied responsibilities
    • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive approach
    • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis)
    • Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
