You'll own the monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, maintain WIP calculations across development projects, manage payroll tax across multiple states, and support the team through audit and tax season.
You'll also review work prepared by the bookkeeper and assistant accountant, so an eye for detail and a steady hand are a must.
The role would suit someone who's technically strong but equally comfortable picking up the phone and communicating clearly with stakeholders across the business.
To be considered you will have:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Solid experience across financial reporting, balance sheet recs, and month-end
- Exposure to property, development, or project-based accounting (highly regarded)
- Experience with payroll tax, BAS, FBT and annual audit processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
