Join a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing business as a Financial Accountant on a 6-month initial contract. Working collaboratively within a close-knit Finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate monthly reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting a clean audit outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate month-end results, including provisioning for stock held with wholesalers, unprocessed transactions, pricing variances, and distribution fee calculations
- Review and validate wholesaler sales and inventory movement data to ensure reporting accuracy and surface meaningful trends
- Calculate and process monthly distribution fee rebates, including invoice preparation and product-level allocations
- Support and maintain Power BI reporting, working closely with BI teams to ensure data integrity and timely delivery
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances, and provide accurate information to support audit processes
- Keep process documentation up to date, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and provide ad hoc reporting and finance support as needed
- 3+ years' experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within FMCG or a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment
- CA or CPA qualified
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (large data sets, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, filters) and broader Office 365 proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently
- Solid technical accounting knowledge with the ability to manage recurring tasks autonomously
- Continuous improvement mindset, adaptable in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as Power BI
