The Role
You will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance and acquittals within a large, multifaceted organisation. The role is responsible for preparing statements and reconciliations, managing acquittals for external funding, and ensuring reporting accuracy in line with accounting standards. You will also provide advice on accounting treatments, support audits, and deliver guidance to internal stakeholders on financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing financial statements, acquittals and subsidiary reporting to meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and external funding requirements
- Provide technical accounting advice including application of revenue recognition
- Complete reconciliations, journals and schedules for financial reporting
- Support staff with training and guidance on financial processes and systems
- CA or CPA qualified or working towards, with experience in complex or commercial organisations
- Strong technical accounting and month-end skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across business units
- Proactive, detail-focused and comfortable working to strict deadlines
