This is a rare opportunity to step into a Financial Accounting Manager role and take real ownership of the financial accounting function within a fast-moving, high-performing environment.
This role is ideally suited to a Manager or Senior Manager currently in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit environment looking to make their first move into industry. You'll bring technical rigour, energy and leadership to a team that sits close to the action: delivering reporting, partnering with senior stakeholders, and helping the business make sharper decisions. It's a demanding environment that rewards people who are switched on, commercially minded and thrive in ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close and delivery of accurate, timely financial and management reporting
- Prepare statutory financial statements and manage the external audit relationship
- Provide technical accounting guidance and interpret the impact of new accounting standards
- Lead, mentor and develop the financial accounting team
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to support commercial decision-making
- Drive process improvement and strengthen financial controls across the function
- CA/CPA qualified, currently at Manager or Senior Manager level in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit/chartered practice or with comparable industry experience
- Financial services exposure highly regarded
- A natural leader who enjoys building and developing a team
- Energetic, resilient and commercially switched on, comfortable in a demanding, fast-paced setting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge paired with confident business partnering skills
