This role sits at the centre of that transformation, working closely with senior leadership to enhance reporting capability, governance and financial oversight.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role within the finance team, responsible for overseeing core financial operations while helping shape how the function evolves.
You’ll work closely with the CFO and broader leadership group, balancing hands-on financial oversight with a forward-looking approach to systems, reporting and process improvement. The role requires someone comfortable operating across both detail and strategy, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing financial reporting cycles, including month-end, year-end and consolidated outputs
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity across the general ledger and balance sheet
- Managing audit processes and statutory reporting obligations
- Driving improvements across financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management activities
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insight into business performance
- Leading and developing the finance team, building capability and accountability
- Supporting the implementation of improved systems, automation and reporting tools
About you
You’re a confident finance leader who is comfortable operating in a changing environment and taking ownership of both technical and commercial outcomes. You enjoy building structure, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders to drive better financial understanding across the business.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification, ideally with a foundation in practice
- Proven experience in a senior finance role with responsibility for reporting and controls
- Strong technical accounting capability across complex environments
- Experience managing audit and compliance requirements
- Commercial mindset with the ability to partner with executive stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams
- Systems mindset with an interest in improving processes and reporting capability
