Our client is a well-established ASX-listed organisation operating within a complex, fast-paced environment. With a major ERP transformation currently underway, the business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
About the Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in maintaining continuity across finance operations while supporting broader transformation initiatives. The role will suit a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys operating across both BAU financial control and project-driven environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end, reporting and financial control processes
- Supporting the business through an ERP implementation and associated process improvements
- Managing and mentoring members of the finance team
- Partnering with operational and executive stakeholders across the organisation
- Driving process improvement, controls and reporting efficiencies
- Supporting audit, compliance and governance activities
You will be an experienced Financial Controller with strong technical capability and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
You will ideally bring:
- CA/CPA qualification
- Prior experience within large, complex or ASX-listed organisations
- Exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation or systems projects, Dynamics highly advantageous
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance BAU and project responsibilities
- Immediately available or available at short notice preferred
