This role would suit either a first mover from Business Services looking to make the move into commerce, or an Accountant/Assistant Accountant ready to step into a broader Financial / Management Accountant position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Assist with treasury, cash flow and banking activities
- Review AP, payroll and reconciliations completed by the wider finance team
- Support BAS, FBT, tax and audit requirements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance projects
- Partner with stakeholders across the business
- Opportunity to get involved in AML, ESG and wider change projects
- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
- Experience within Business Services or Commercial Accounting
- Strong technical accounting fundamentals
- Proactive with a genuine desire to improve processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Looking to build a long-term career within a collaborative finance team
