    About the opportunity
    Join a fast-growing tech company in Sydney CBD as their Finance Operations Manager. Lead and optimise their core finance processes across the full AP/AR lifecycle while driving automation and process improvement initiatives at a critical stage of the company's growth.

    Responsibilities
    As Finance Operations Manager, you'll lead finance operations and drive scalable, accurate, and compliant processes:
    • Manage and coach a team of AP and AR officers and assistants
    • Lead end-to-end AR and AP processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong cash performance
    • Forecast and manage cash flows, oversee payment runs, and optimise working capital
    • Build triage pathways and SLAs for billing and payment issues
    • Partner with FP&A and Financial Accounting teams to support reporting and month-end close
    • Lead initiatives to increase invoice automation and work towards 100% touchless transactions
    • Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and audit readiness
    • Own the finance onboarding journey for customers and carriers from first invoice to first payment
    • Participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers as required
    Skills needed
    • 8+ years in finance operations or shared services
    • 3+ years in a leadership role managing AP/AR teams
    • Proven experience in a scaling tech, SaaS, or high-growth business
    • Strong issue resolution mindset with a data-led approach to decision-making
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
