Avanti Health Centres is a growing, privately owned health, fitness and allied health business focused on healthy ageing and wellness for Australians aged 50+.
With six centres operating across Queensland and Victoria, two new centres planned, and continued expansion of clinical services (including NDIS and aged care), Avanti is strengthening its finance capability to support the next phase of growth.
We are seeking a CA/CPA-qualified Group Accountant / Finance Manager to take ownership of group finance on a flexible, circa 3 day per week part-time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to step into a broad, commercially impactful role while maintaining balance and flexibility.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the CEO and Board, you will lead the financial management of a multi-site, service-based business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end management accounting across the group
- Monthly reporting, analysis and financial packs for leadership and Board
- P&L, balance sheet and cashflow management
- Budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting
- Centre-level performance analysis and commercial insights
- Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
- Supporting business cases for new centres, services and growth initiatives
- Improving financial systems, processes and controls as the business scales
- Partnering with operational leaders to support informed decision-making
- Liaison with external accountants, auditors and advisors
This role will suit a commercially minded CA or CPA who enjoys working close to the business and adding value beyond the numbers.
You will likely bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting or commercial finance
- Strong capability across management reporting, financial analysis and cashflow
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and non-finance leaders
- A practical, hands-on approach suited to a growing organisation
- Flexible 3 day working arrangement with real responsibility
