This Group Financial Accounting Manager role presents a rare opportunity for a technical CA/CPA, looking to leverage your deep technical expertise, to move away from the month-end grind and into a more rewarding, meaningful role.
Reporting into a progressive Group Financial Controller and CFO and managing a small team, your remit will include the following;
- Oversight of delivery of consolidated statutory accounts for a complex, multi-entity, multi-structure group.
- Provision of technical accounting advice around the tax & accounting impact of investments and transactions for the group.
- Ownership of the group's performance management platform - Onestream - used for financial reporting and consolidations.
- Continuous improvement and ongoing identification of opportunities to streamline and improve processes through effective deployment of AI and automation.
- Tax effect accounting, including preparation and analysis of deferred tax calcs and preparation of CFO-level papers on deferred tax balances.
- Business partnering with stakeholders across the group, both finance and operational.
This is the ideal role for a highly technical, commercially astute CA/CPA, with a group-level statutory accounting, tax & consolidations background from within a large, complex, multi entity group.
You're ambitious, seeking to leverage your technical background to move into a broad, dynamic, non-BAU role, with exposure to C-level stakeholders of a progressive group, who are proud to be at the forefront of technological advancement.
Onestream experience will be highly valued, a background in property, construction, infrastructure, hospitality (or other asset-intensive sector) will stand you in good stead, whilst a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered grounding will be well regarded.
