Our client is seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join their team on an immediate 2-month contract, with potential to become permanent. Supporting a national retail field workforce of approximately 150 employees, this role will focus heavily on IR, ER, Workers Compensation and Return to Work, while also providing generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HRBP support to leaders across a fast-paced retail environment.
- Manage complex ER/IR matters and performance management.
- Oversee Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes.
- Support recruitment activity across multiple vacancies.
- Maintain HR policies, records and reporting.
- Provide advice on awards, entitlements and payroll-related queries.
- Previous experience in a HRBP or Senior HR role.
- Strong ER/IR and Workers Compensation experience.
- Experience managing Return to Work cases.
- ELMO HRIS experience highly regarded.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
- Resilient, confident and comfortable influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Retail or multi-site experience highly regarded.
