  • Interim Investment Operations Support (2-Month Contract)

    The Opportunity

    An established industry investment organisation is seeking an Interim Investment Operations Support professional to join their team on a short-term contract through to the end of July.

    This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day delivery of investment operations within a small, collaborative team. You will play a key role in ensuring core processes run smoothly during a period of transition, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Supporting day-to-day investment operations processes across multiple asset classes
    • Ensuring accuracy of investment data, pricing and cash movements
    • Assisting with reconciliations and resolving breaks with custodians
    • Coordinating cash movements in line with investment activity
    • Working closely with the custodian and internal finance/accounting teams
    • Supporting APRA-related data reporting and regulatory processes
    • Following and executing established operational processes and procedures
    • Assisting with documentation and continuous improvement of workflows
    • Supporting BAU activities across daily, weekly and monthly cycles
    About You

    You are a reliable and detail-oriented investment operations professional who is comfortable working in a hands-on environment and following established processes.
    • 3–5 years experience in investment operations, fund administration, custody or a related environment
    • Strong understanding of core investment operations processes (cash, reconciliations, pricing, trade support)
    • Experience working with custodians and/or institutional investment data flows
    • A structured, process-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
    • Solid analytical skills and confidence working with data
    • The ability to identify issues, ask questions and escalate appropriately
    • A proactive and collaborative approach in a small team environment
    Working Arrangement
    • Small, close-knit team, no management required
    • Well-documented processes with a structured handover provided
    • Traditional investment operations environment with established systems and workflows
    • Primarily office-based to support collaboration, with some flexibility on working hours
    • Flexibility for full-time or 4 days per week arrangements
