This role offers true end-to-end exposure across development, acquisitions and project finance, within a lean principal-investing environment. You will work directly with senior investment professionals and gain hands-on responsibility from day one.
Importantly, this role is open to candidates who may not have direct renewables or infrastructure investing experience, but who bring strong financial modelling capability and transaction exposure from adjacent fields such as investment banking, consulting, deals or corporate finance.
The Opportunity

You will take ownership of financial modelling and investment analysis on live transactions, support due diligence and financing processes, and remain actively involved post-investment across asset performance, financing and value creation.
International exposure is genuine, with collaboration across regions and the opportunity to support offshore transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, own and evolve complex financial models for renewable energy investments
- Support deal underwriting through detailed commercial and financial analysis
- Execute due diligence alongside technical, legal and commercial advisers
- Assist with project finance processes, including lender engagement and debt structuring
- Support asset management and ongoing investment performance post-close
- Mentor junior analysts and interns
You do not need to come from a traditional renewables investing background.
You do bring strong analytical horsepower, commercial judgement and a desire to operate on the principal side.
Likely background (flexible):
- ~3–5 years’ experience in:
- Investment banking (M&A, infrastructure, energy, project finance, leveraged finance)
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting (corporate finance, deals, infrastructure, valuation)
- Infrastructure, private capital or renewable energy investing
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong academic background from a leading university
- Commercial mindset with the ability to think like an investor
- Clear communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Genuine interest in renewables and the energy transition
