This organisation is a well established institutional investor with a strong focus on infrastructure and energy assets. Based in Brisbane, the team works across the evaluation, structuring and ongoing management of long life energy investments.
This 12 month max term role offers exposure to high profile projects within a highly experienced investment environment.
The Role
This role supports the assessment and delivery of large scale energy infrastructure projects, with a focus on financial analysis, commercial assessment and investment decision support. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute to business cases, due diligence activities and asset management responsibilities across the investment lifecycle. Key responsibilities include -
- Build and review detailed financial models including sensitivities and scenarios
- Support commercial and financial inputs into major investment business cases
- Assist with investment due diligence across financial, commercial and technical workstreams
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external advisers
- Support asset management activities including reporting, valuations and governance processes
- Monitor sector, market and economic trends impacting energy infrastructure investments
You will have experience across energy or infrastructure investments, project finance or an advisory environment, with strong financial modelling and analytical capability. You are comfortable working on complex projects, engaging with senior stakeholders and external advisers, and contributing to investment and due diligence processes. This role will suit someone ready to step into, or further consolidate, a Manager level position within a high performing investment team.
