We’re excited to partner exclusively with Brighter Super to recruit an Investment Performance Analyst. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to the fund’s investment reporting capability by producing accurate, timely, and insightful performance analytics. Based in either Brisbane or Sydney, you’ll collaborate with investment, risk and operations teams, while helping uplift reporting processes through enhanced data, automation and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, validate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly investment performance and exposure reports
- Partner with the custodian and performance analytics provider to maintain accuracy and consistency across reporting
- Analyse and interpret investment performance, contributing meaningful commentary for internal and external stakeholders
- Support automation and improvements across the performance reporting ecosystem, including BI tools such as Power BI
- Work collaboratively with Investment, Market Risk and Finance teams to resolve queries and ensure reporting is fit‑for‑purpose
About You
- 3–5 years’ investment performance analytics experience within superannuation or funds management (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of portfolio performance, attribution and exposure reporting
- Exposure to performance or risk systems (e.g. FactSet, Aladdin, Axioma, MSCI)
- Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel and data/reporting skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders
