The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will support the finance function while contributing to wider business improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end close activities and management reporting
• Supporting BAS preparation and compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate financial records and liaising with external accountants
• Managing and improving Xero workflows, invoice processing, and expense management processes
• Assisting with cash flow reporting and financial analysis
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance operations
• Supporting business reporting, special projects, and ad hoc analysis
• Providing broader operational and administrative support as required

About You

We're seeking someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and eager to build a long-term career in accounting and finance.
You may be a recent accounting graduate or an early-career accountant wanting broader exposure beyond traditional transactional accounting.

Ideally, you will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support
• Exposure to Xero or a similar accounting system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Confidence using technology and identifying process improvements
• A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
