Junior Fund Manager — Real Estate Private Credit
We're working with a growing Sydney-based real estate debt manager to find a Junior Fund Manager to join their investment team.
The business manages institutional-grade debt investments across Australian commercial real estate, backed by major domestic and offshore institutional investors. With strong deal flow and an expanding portfolio, this is a genuine opportunity to grow within a high-performing investment team.
The role
Working closely with senior investment professionals, you'll be involved across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and underwriting through to portfolio management and investor reporting.
Day to day you'll be:
- Conducting financial modelling and credit analysis on new lending opportunities
- Preparing investment committee papers and transaction documentation
- Monitoring portfolio performance including covenant tracking and reporting
- Supporting capital structuring across debt and equity
- Contributing to investor reporting and fund management activities
- Staying across market developments and sector trends
What they're looking for
- 3+ years in funds management, investment analysis, real estate or financial consulting
- Strong financial modelling skills, comfortable building and reviewing complex model
- Sharp written communication, able to prepare clear investment papers
- Commercial mindset with genuine interest in real estate and private markets
- Prior real estate experience is preferred but not essential, investment fundamentals matter more
