    About the Role:  We are seeking a Legal Assistant  to join their Employers Liability practice team. You will help with high-level administrative, document management, and client-focused tasks. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, assisting multiple fee earners, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced legal environment.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Preparation and drafting of court documents/correspondence
    • Diary management
    • Brief preparation
    • Monthly billing
    • Open, maintain, and close client files in line with compliance requirements.
    • Conduct conflict checks and ensure document retention.
    • Act as a key contact for clients, handling queries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
    • Assisting lawyers as necessary
    • General secretarial and administrative task
    • Oversee general office tasks, including scanning, filing, and assisting with office management
    About You:
    • Experience:  At least 6 months + recent experience as a legal assistant/secretary/admin assistant
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
    • Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a professional client approach.
    • Proactive and capable of working independently.
    • Willingness to commit to a full-time role in a fast-paced environment.
