  • $95,000 - $100,000 package, site based role 5 days in the office
  • EA support for senior partners and general counsel

  • Legal Assistant
    Onsite 5 days a week
     
    We are currently recruiting an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy, high-performing team at a commercial law firm in Sydney.
    This is a central and valued role that offers genuine variety day to day, and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    The team is hard-working and high-performing. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the efficient running of the practice from day one.
     
    The Role
    No two days are the same, and your responsibilities will include:
    • EA support for senior partners and general counsel, including travel bookings, diary management, preparation of minutes and reconciliation of accounts
    • Opening and closing matters and conducting conflict searches
    • Assisting with court document preparation, online filing and drafting
    • Attending to time entries, processing third-party invoices, monthly billing and reporting
    • Preparing documents including letters, contracts and general correspondence
    • General administrative duties including document management
     
    About You
    • Strong experience in a law firm environment as either a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal PA
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, especially in such a busy team
    • Exposure to legal practice systems such as FileSite and Expert (desirable)
    • A high level of attention to detail while working at pace
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • The ability to work both collaboratively within a team and autonomously when required
