A large and well-established organisation is currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
This is a highly visible Management Accounting role that combines financial planning, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and business partnering responsibilities.
Working closely with stakeholders across a substantial business portfolio, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing financial guidance, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and delivering meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across a stakeholder portfolio
- Providing financial advice and business partnering support to operational and senior stakeholders
- Supporting the consolidation and review of portfolio and divisional budget submissions
- Delivering month-end reporting and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results
- Analysing financial performance, identifying trends and key drivers, and providing actionable recommendations
- Presenting financial commentary and insights to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way
- Building strong relationships with budget holders and developing a deep understanding of business operations
- Supporting strategic planning and decision-making through financial modelling and analysis
You are an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes through high-quality financial insights.
You have strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex financial information for both financial and non-financial audiences. You are proactive, commercially astute, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- CA or CPA qualified
- Proven experience in Management Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Finance Business Partnering roles
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis capability
- Demonstrated experience partnering with stakeholders across a complex organisation
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to provide meaningful commercial and financial insights that support decision-making
- Exposure to ERP systems
