The Role
This newly created Management Accountant role will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for assisting in the production of accurate and timely management accounts, claims, budgets, and analysis for the Sirrom entity.
The Management Accountant will collaborate closely with business and operations leaders in providing financial insights critical to decision-making, whilst play a key role in uplifting Sirrom’s finance function and business systems capabilities.
Responsibilities will include;
- Assist in month end close process (P&L and balance sheet, including reconciling GL, journals, and intercompany transactions).
- Preparation of month end claims for projects within remit.
- Assist in monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary on group performance and within projects.
- Assisting with delivering the annual budget and ongoing forecasting (monthly/quarterly/annually).
- Identify and implement initiatives to achieve alignment, standardisation and excellence in financial reporting and business analysis.
- Play a key role in the ongoing improvement of the ERP system (NetSuite)
- Assist with supervising transactional processes (AP, AR).
- Assist with end of year processes and compliances as required.
The successful candidate will be a part or recently qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with a keen interest in developing your finance career with an ambitious project-based facilities services’ provider.
