  • The Company

    We are seeking an experienced professional to support a short-term project focused on governance and compliance. This role involves working closely with internal teams to understand how the organisation meets its regulatory and operational obligations and documenting the key practices and controls in place.

    This is not a traditional audit role. You will be helping the business clearly describe how it operates to meet obligations, identify important controls, link them to risks, and ensure the information captured is practical and meaningful. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured analysis, stakeholder engagement, and creating tools and frameworks that make a real impact.



    The Role

    This  4-month contract  will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available Internal Auditor. This role has the potential to be extended.

    Duties include but are not limited to: 
    • Engage with business areas to identify and document key practices and controls.
    • Determine how obligations are addressed and the associated risks.
    • Capture details on the purpose, scope, and implementation of controls.
    • Avoid duplication and reconcile overlaps to ensure clarity and accuracy.
    • Support the development of visual representations to show how practices and controls relate to obligations and risks, where required.
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders through meetings and follow-ups.


    About You

    Skills and Experience:
    • Experience in audit, risk, compliance, or governance.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders to gather information.
    • Ability to organise complex information into clear, practical outputs.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently on a structured project.
