    The Role

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to join a busy payroll function on an initial 4 month contract. Working closely with the Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately and payroll activities are completed efficiently. This position would suit someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous payroll experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Support the weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and processing
    • Assist the Payroll Coordinator with payroll administration and payroll-related duties
    • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and payroll information
    • Process employment contract amendments and employee detail changes
    • Respond to payroll enquiries and assist with resolving pay-related queries
    • Ensure payroll documentation is accurately recorded and maintained
    • Provide general administrative support to the payroll function
    • Assist with compliance and record-keeping requirements
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll information is current and accurate
    About You
    • Previous experience in payroll administration, payroll processing, or a similar support role
    • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Sound administrative and organisational skills
    • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
    • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
    • Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team
