  • n experienced and customer-focused Patient Liaison Officer role, joining a large, fast-paced healthcare environment on an 8-month contract.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage high-volume communication with patients, families, carers and internal stakeholders
    • Determine patient classifications, including Medicare eligibility
    • Collect and verify patient information, including private health insurance details
    • Conduct financial discussions and facilitate upfront payments where required
    • Liaise with health funds regarding eligibility and coverage
    • Support revenue recovery processes, particularly for ineligible patients
    Key Requirements
    • Previous experience in healthcare - MUST
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to confidently deal with challenging conversations 
    • High attention to detail 
    • Team-oriented, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
