We are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Implementation Specialist to lead the payroll‑focused implementation of ELMO and KeyPay. This role is critical to ensuring payroll compliance, accuracy, and a seamless transition from legacy systems.
The successful candidate will bring strong payroll project delivery experience and previous hands‑on use of both ELMO and KeyPay, ideally within complex or fast‑paced environments.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Implementation & Configuration (Primary Focus)
- Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of KeyPay, including configuration, testing, and go‑live.
- Configure payroll rules including pay categories, leave, superannuation, deductions, termination rules, and reporting.
- Ensure payroll configurations comply with Australian legislation, awards, and Fair Work requirements.
- Support and validate payroll data migration from legacy systems.
- Run and manage parallel payroll testing and resolve discrepancies.
- Configure ELMO Core HR to support payroll data requirements and downstream integration with KeyPay.
- Ensure employee lifecycle events (onboarding, changes, terminations) feed correctly between systems.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to manage ELMO–KeyPay integrations.
- Fully configured and compliant KeyPay payroll environment.
- Accurate and validated payroll data migration.
- Successful parallel pay runs and first‑time‑right payroll at go‑live.
- Clean integration between ELMO and KeyPay.
- Clear documentation and transition to BAU teams.
- Proven experience delivering payroll system implementations, ideally as a project lead or payroll SME.
- Hands‑on experience using both ELMO and KeyPay (prior use is mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience running parallel pay runs and payroll testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
