The Role
Payroll Manager running a high-volume function across 2,000+ employees. Hands-on role leading a small team (4-5 directs), owning fortnightly payroll end-to-end and keeping things accurate, compliant and on track.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end fortnightly payroll (2,000+ employees)
- Multi-award interpretation (Real Estate, Aged Care, Nurses, Clerical, Hospitality)
- Review of pay runs, entitlements, deductions and super
- Payroll reporting, reconciliations and controls
- Chris21 & Dayforce ownership (data, issues, config)
- Manage team workload and output across each cycle
- Key contact for payroll queries across the business
- Support system changes and payroll process improvements
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience in high-volume environments
- Proven Modern Award interpretation capability
- Hands-on Chris21 and Dayforce experience (nice to have)
- Team leadership experience (or ready to step up)
