    The Role

    An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a busy and dedicated payroll team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Process end-to-end payroll for a diverse workforce in accordance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation
    • Administer payroll using Micropay, ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity
    • Maintain employee payroll records, including commencements, terminations, leave, and pay variations
    • Respond to payroll-related enquiries, providing clear and professional customer service to employees and stakeholders
    • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including superannuation, taxation, and reporting requirements
    • Reconcile payroll reports and support regular and ad-hoc audits
    About You
    • Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Officer or similar role
    • Proven hands-on experience using Micropay 
    • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements
    • High level of attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume payroll environment
