    We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join a well-established Australian company on a 3-month temporary assignment. The organisation has a strong local presence and a reputation for excellence in operational management.

    The Role

    This  3 -month contract  will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available Payroll Officer, who will report directly to the Payroll Manager. This role has the potential to be extended.

    Duties include but are not limited to: 
    • Process full-cycle payroll for employees, including regular and casual staff
    • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, and company policies
    • Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and leave balances
    • Reconcile payroll accounts and report on payroll data
    • Address payroll-related inquiries from staff and management
    • Support month-end payroll reporting and ad hoc payroll tasks

    • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
    • Strong understanding of payroll systems and relevant legislation
