    Perigon Group is partnering with a rapidly expanding national organisation backed by a major global investment fund. The business is entering an exciting growth phase driven by strategic acquisitions, organic expansion and the launch of new service lines. Their finance function has been thoughtfully strengthened over recent months and is now operating as a highly capable and cohesive team, creating an excellent environment for a Payroll Officer to step in and thrive.

    The Role

    Reporting into a supportive finance leadership team, the Payroll Officer will manage a medium sized portfolio of payrolls covering circa 350 employees. Experience with the Reubler system will be highly regarded. The organisation is also preparing for a significant systems transformation project, the successful applicant gaining valuable exposure to change activity over the coming year and genuine process improvement opportunity.

    This position suits someone who enjoys ownership, structure and improving the way things are done. With new systems and continued business growth on the horizon, there is strong opportunity to contribute to process enhancement and streamlining projects.

    Key Responsibilities
    • End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls for 350 employees
    • Fortnightly payroll cycle across payroll groups
    • Maintenance of employee records, leave, superannuation and payroll compliance
    • Support upcoming ERP implementation and assist with testing and transition to new systems
    • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and reporting
    • Respond to queries and provide strong customer service to internal stakeholders
    About You
    • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll
    • Ability to manage multiple pay groups and deadlines
    • Experience with Reubler or large payroll systems is advantageous
    • Strong eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset
    • Confident working in a growing environment with new systems and processes
    Benefits
    • Salary of $80,000 to $90,000 plus super, experience dependent
