The Role
Working closely with the payroll manager, you will manage a portfolio of payrolls for approximately 350 staff across 8 entities. With a large systems transformation underway, this role offers rare exposure to change activity, testing and process redesign.
This position suits someone who enjoys autonomy, structure and process improvement. With the business growing and new systems on the horizon, you will have genuine opportunity to contribute to streamlining initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls for 350 employees
- Fortnightly payroll cycles across multi-state entities
- Maintain employee records, leave, superannuation and compliance
- Support ERP implementation, including testing and transition
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Provide strong customer service to internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (min. 2-3 years)
- Ability to manage multiple pay groups and deadlines
- Experience with Reubler or large payroll systems is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of EBAs and inter-state payroll tax
- Salary of $100,000 to $110,000 plus super
