Fast growing property and construction business on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their HR/Payroll team. You will manage end-to-end payroll function on a fortnightly basis. This is an ongoing contract suitable for someone who is flexible with the working hours (around 10-15 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for about 40 employees on a fortnightly basis.
- Process timesheets, allowances, penalties, overtime, deductions and adjustments accurately
- Interpret and apply relevant awards, agreements and payroll legislation
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and employment obligations
- Resolve payroll queries from internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate payroll records and complete reconciliations and reporting
- Work closely with recruitment, finance and operations teams to streamline payroll processes
- Have proven experience in an end-to-end payroll position
- Must used Employment Hero in the past
- Ability to manage deadlines and work autonomously
