    Reporting to the Executive Manager, you'll lead the procurement function across a diverse portfolio supporting manufacturing, logistics and operational services. You'll inherit a capable team while driving strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthening supplier partnerships and ensuring continuity of supply across a safety-critical environment.

    What you'll be doing
    • Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned to business objectives.
    • Lead strategic sourcing activities, major tenders and commercial negotiations.
    • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing supplier performance and risk.
    • Ensure continuity of supply across manufacturing and operational sites.
    • Lead, mentor and develop a small procurement team.
    • Drive contract management, governance and procurement best practice.
    • Partner closely with Operations, Production, Finance and Logistics to deliver commercial outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and value creation.
    About you

    You'll bring proven procurement leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, mining, energy, chemicals or heavy engineering environment.

    You'll also demonstrate:
    • Experience leading strategic sourcing and category management initiatives.
    • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capability.
    • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across the business.
    • Experience managing supplier performance, commercial risk and business continuity.
    • Previous leadership experience, with a passion for developing people.
    • A pragmatic, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes.
