High-Volume Recruitment | Candidate Screening | Compliance & Administration
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Recruitment Coordinator to join a large, fast-paced recruitment team for a 4-6 week temporary assignment. An immediate start is required for this position.
This is a hands-on support role where you will play an important part in keeping a busy recruitment function moving. Working across a high volume of candidates and vacancies, you will support the broader recruitment team with candidate screening, interview coordination, compliance, background checking and recruitment administration.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at pace, is highly organised and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
The Role
Working closely with a large team of recruiters, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial phone screening of candidates against key role requirements
- Managing a high volume of candidate applications and enquiries
- Coordinating interviews and candidate appointments
- Completing reference checks and pre-employment background checks
- Managing candidate compliance documentation and ensuring requirements are completed accurately
- Following up candidates for outstanding information and documentation
- Updating candidate records and recruitment systems
- Supporting onboarding and pre-employment processes
- Providing general administrative support to recruiters across multiple active vacancies
- Ensuring candidates receive a professional and responsive experience throughout the recruitment process
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in recruitment administration or HR administration with exposure to recruitment coordination.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with candidates over the phone
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when managing compliance and background checking
- The ability to manage competing priorities and a large volume of activity
- A proactive approach – you are comfortable following up, asking questions and getting things done
- A genuine interest in recruitment and working within a collaborative team environment
