The Role
This is a professional research position blending legal research, commercial/business research and information management. You'll support lawyers by providing high-quality research, managing information resources, and helping the firm deliver strong knowledge services. This is a highly valued position within the firm with strong support from an experienced interstate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal and commercial research advice including via virtual reference desk shifts (includes one weekly Thursday evening shift to cover Perth hours)
- Develop and deliver commercial research services including detailed company and sector research
- Contribute to ongoing evolution of research services, leveraging emerging technologies
- Library/information-based professional qualification or suitable equivalent required
- Experience in a similar role in a legal or other professional services environment
- Skills and demonstrated experience using legal and business research resources
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train and support others in research methods
- Experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to balance operational and project responsibilities
- Salary: $100k-$120k inclusive of super
- Flexible working arrangement (60% office / 40% home once established)
