Job Description:

  • Tight knight, supportive team with good work life balance
  • 2-3 days WFH
  • 16 months FTC with high potential for extension
  • Revenue Accountant | 16-Month FTC | Strong Potential to Extend
This established, community-focused property organisation is looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant to join its collaborative and supportive finance team.

This is an initial 16-month fixed-term contract with strong potential to extend, offering plenty of stability while giving you the opportunity to join an organisation with a genuine social purpose.

Reporting to an experienced Finance Manager and working alongside another Revenue Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of revenue accounting responsibilities while supporting the wider finance function.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Analysing income and revenue across the organisation
    • Calculating and processing rent charges
    • Managing monthly and ad-hoc payment cycles
    • Receipting and reconciling revenue
    • Preparing month-end journals and revenue reporting
    • Investigating and resolving revenue discrepancies
    • Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends
    • Supporting process improvements and efficiencies across the revenue function
    • Working closely with internal stakeholders across finance and the broader business
    About You:

You’ll ideally be an experienced Assistant Accountant or Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role and is comfortable managing competing priorities.
    You will bring:
    • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent experience
    • Around 4–5 years' experience within accounting, revenue or a similar finance role
    • Strong reconciliation and month-end experience
    • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
    • Confidence managing deadlines and competing priorities
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
This is a great opportunity to join a stable, purpose-led organisation with a supportive finance team, varied responsibilities and strong potential for the role to continue beyond the initial 16-month contract.
