Our client is an expanding organisation with operations across multiple regions, seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen its head office finance team. The Role
This is a hands-on position with responsibility for managing financial reporting and compliance across a multi-entity structure. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, while guiding and developing a small team within the finance function.
The role requires a balance of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and leadership, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering month-end and year-end reporting for multiple entities
- Preparing and reviewing P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements
- Coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes
- Managing statutory reporting, tax and audit requirements
- Enhancing financial systems and streamlining reporting processes
- Providing insights and analysis to support business performance
- Leading and mentoring team members to build capability
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
About You
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a dynamic environment. You combine technical strength with leadership skills and can communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification with solid post-qualification experience
- Strong background in financial accounting and reporting
- Experience working across multiple entities or complex structures
- Proven ability to lead, coach or mentor team members
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving ability
