A growing and well-established residential living operator with a portfolio of premium sites across South East Queensland. This is a business with a strong culture, long-standing teams on the ground and a commitment to delivering a high standard of living experience for their residents.
The Opportunity
This is not your typical Facilities Manager role.
As the portfolio continues to expand, the business is looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to take genuine ownership of the built environment across multiple sites. You will work closely with Village Managers at each site, acting as their go-to expert on all things facilities, contracts and asset performance.
This is a senior, strategic position that sits above day-to-day maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the right contracts are in place, the right people are delivering them, and that the overall upkeep, auditing and preventative maintenance of the portfolio is running to a high standard. You will also have direct involvement when resident issues arise at a building level, taking ownership of those conversations and outcomes.
What the Role Involves
- Overseeing facilities management across residential sites in South East Queensland, with regular travel in Brisbane sites and fortnightly visits to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast locations.
- Working alongside Village Managers to ensure contractual obligations are appropriate, compliant and delivering value for money.
- Leading a small team and driving a proactive, preventative approach to asset management and building upkeep.
- Conducting regular site audits and maintaining rigorous standards across the portfolio.
A genuinely experienced, senior Facilities Manager with a strong track record managing complex built assets, ideally across multiple sites or a portfolio setting. You will have managed staff and contractors before and know how to get results through people.
Strong communication skills are essential. This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including Village Managers, senior leadership, contractors and residents, and who can influence without authority when needed.
TThe business is looking for someone who commits, builds trust and delivers over the long term.
You will need to be Brisbane based. Travel across the portfolio is part of the role.
What Is On Offer
A genuinely unique opportunity to shape the facilities function of a growing residential portfolio. This is a role with real scope, real responsibility and the chance to leave a visible mark on how the business operates.
Car allowance of approximately $10,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience.
