Our client is a large Australian logistics organisation. They have recently completed a significant acquisition and are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead the financial integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial integration planning and execution, including harmonising chart of accounts, reporting cadence, and budgeting and forecasting processes
- Act as the key finance partner to the Finance Director and senior leadership across both organisations throughout the integration
- Partner with commercial and operations stakeholders to identify risks, synergies, and decisions required through the transition
- Build and present financial analysis and business cases to support integration milestones
- Identify and resolve process, system, and control gaps between the two organisations
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar senior finance role – MUST
- Prior exposure to M&A integration, post-acquisition finance, or carve-out environments – highly regarded
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in logistics or a similarly fast-paced environment preferred
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity
- High-visibility role with direct exposure to C-suite and senior leadership
