Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Support management reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders
- Assist with the annual budget, forecast and planning cycles, including data collection and analysis
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and responding to audit queries
- Prepare financial information and reports required by external stakeholders and group reporting teams
- Ensure financial results and reports are prepared in line with group accounting standards and IFRS
- Fixed assets and capital accounting, including capitalisation, disposals, work-in-progress and asset registers
- Prepare and review lease accounting entries in line with current accounting standards
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, projects and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and simplification of financial reporting processes
- Support and collaborate with the broader finance team through ad-hoc analysis and knowledge sharing
- Assist with the collation of information for tax reporting, working with internal and external tax specialists
- Multiple years' experience in Financial Accounting or Group Accounting, ideally within a large complex organisation
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards
- Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across finance and the wider business
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple deadline
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience with larger ERP systems
