Our client is a household name to many, a high-growth FMCG group with a fast-growing presence and expansion into numerous markets around the world.
This role will be Senior Financial Accountant and will work in a high performing team reporting into an impressive finance manager.
This is a hybrid role that will involve both financial and management accounting.
The role
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to -
- Full responsibility of month end reporting
- Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in depth analysis of clinical performance
- Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Preparation of financial statements
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Dealing with external Accountants, Tax Advisers, and Auditors
- Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half yearly audit review
- Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc
- Involvement budgets and forecasts
- Consolidating monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast
About You -
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards
- Dynamic and a high-performer
- Suits proven Financial Accountant or 2nd mover from big 4 / mid tier firm
- FMCG experience (or similar) is desired. Could be retail, hospitality etc
